Lava Diva is a Los Angeles trio formed during the LA uprising in April of 1992. Every time I go to one of their shows, I wonder why someone hasn’t snatched them up. This trio features two strong women, on lead vocals guitar and bass, and a male drummer who combine their diverse musical backgrounds to create a passionate blend of aggressive dissonance. Lava Diva has opened for such bands as Rage Against The Machine, Greta and Failure. Meltdown records recently released their 7” single.
